*The word 'digi-escape' originates from the vernacular in naming a 'pure-play' Internet related company. For example, what is a 'Google', an 'ebay' or a 'skype'? Inspiration also comes from the country of Japan: 'digi' is short for digital and when used in combination with 'escape', is a metaphor for virtual travel using the Web. Usage is similar to how Japanese people shorten English words for ease of pronunciation, for example, 'digi-cam' is short for digital camera.
